James Fiala
Founder and President

Jim Fiala founded Good Dog Group Inc. in 2008 after decades of experience with sales and marketing in the furniture industry. As a Dorel Industries Representative, Jim focuses on representing the brands of  one of the top importers of goods to the U.S. and he works closely with Wayfair.com. Before founding GDG-Inc. Jim served as VP of Sales and Marketing for Carina Furniture where he developed over $32 million of new business in under 3 years, VP of Sales for Bush Industries and National Sales Manager for Atari. Jim has a B.S. from Winona State University and Completed Graduate level work in Marketing Strategies at Harvard University

Alexandra Collier
Director of Business Development & Analytics 

Alex Collier joined Good Dog Group in 2018 to expand GDG Inc's Retail Partnerships and Product Development functions. Prior to joining GDG Inc, Alex was a Merchant on the Exclusive Brands team at Wayfair, LLC, where she created and managed new brands across product categories generating hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue. She also spent time on the Central Buying team at Wayfair, where she identified product gaps on site, found products to fit those gaps and led negotiations on new product addition. Alex has a B.A. in Communications from The University of Pittsburgh and a Certificate in Data Analytics from Cornell University. 

Sima Chitrik
Director of Operations & Logistics

Sima Chitrik leads several data-intensive functions and oversees all Supply Chain Operations. She is responsible for forecasting, managing direct import containers and domestic truck building for our largest retail partners. Sima has previously held a leadership role in operations as a co-founder of Chevra Ahavas Yisroel, an organization of over 400 people. Sima has a B.S. in Computer Science, a B.S. in Psychology, and is pursuing an advanced degree in Supply Chain Operations at Boston University to compliment her decade of experience managing operations for both Brick and Mortar and Ecommerce Customers.

Catherine Carey
Director of Product and Catalog Management

As Good Dog Group's first employee, Cat Carey has a deep understanding of the operations of all partners. She oversees multiple components of our integral performance functions including merchandising, quality assurance and pricing. Her detail - oriented approach to product management reduces information error rates across online retail. Cat has a Masters degree in Criminal Justice from Suffolk University.
